We
are committed to Work
Experience placements in conjunction with many local Schools and Colleges, and can offer
placement durations of one or two weeks.
During
their placement the student will have the opportunity to learn and
participate rather than just being used to make the coffee and do the
filing, as we have a full program of training for them to
complete. Depending on current workload, site visits
to watch or assist with the rigging of one of our Productions may also be
possible.
As a company, Stagepoint is very conscious
of our Health & Safety obligations particularly with regard to young people. A
risk assessment concerning Work Experience placements may be found
here. (Acrobat PDF format)
Our Work Experience placements tend to be
very popular, so we do ask that any prospective student has a definite (and
preferably proven) interest in the technical side of theatre and production.
If you are interested in joining Stagepoint
for a Work Experience placement, please contact the appropriate person in
your school or college initially and then download an Application Form
